Munich Revisited:
A non-commercial, educational assignment, to select a scene from a pre-existing movie that the director has not seen, and adapt it using the basic fundamentals of film development. This scene is extracted from the final dialogue between Avner Kaufman (Eric Bana) and Ephraim (Geoffrey Rush) in the ending scene to Munich, directed by Steven Spielberg (2005).

Papa Piñata (Smuggler's Cut):
A dying money launderer (Kevin Sanchez) and his femme fatale accomplice (Kerstin John) must choose between life or duty as they confront the leader of a violent crime family.
Originally completed as the first film, for the first semester of the MFA Production program at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Amongst many restrictions to challenge the filmmakers, synced dialogue was not allowed in order to place emphasis on telling a story through visuals and emotions. This version re-introduces the original vision that was truncated to meet the class requirement, while also adding polish in a few technical areas.
The narrative and aesthetic structure of the film is a blatant homage to several sources: Frank Miller's Sin City, Alex Proyas' Dark City and The Crow, as well as just about every superhero flick of the early to mid-90s.
